WORKSHOP - Creating with PanPastel

This workshop will focus on completing an artwork using the wonderful medium of PanPastel. PanPastels are professional artist quality soft pastels packed into a unique pan format. Each PanPastel colour is loaded with the finest quality artists' colour pigments for the most concentrated colour possible.

We will be playing with different techniques of applying PanPastel using sofft tools. We will also be looking at composition, focal point and colour harmony to create a successful painting. Angela will lead you step by step in completing an animal artwork, building up the layers of the painting using PanPastel.

• Burnt Sienna extra dark 40.1

• Raw Sienna shade 710.3

• Burnt Sienna shade 740.3

• Burnt umber medium 760.6

• ultramarine blue 520.5 OR ultramarine blue medium 520.6

 

Pastel Pencils (any brand like Faber-castell Pitt Paste, Sennelier, Carbothello, Conte, Caran D'Ache)

• White

• Black

• 2 tones of raw sienna - one light one dark

• one sponge (any shape)

One white pastel stick(any brand like Rembrandt or Art Spectrum is fine)

Grey lead pencil,
